Corporate Sponsorship Program

Below you will find information pertaining to two different types of sponsorship you can choose between: 

1. Sponsoring a specific student and/or 

2. Yearly donations to the program as a whole. 

There is a form you can fill out, at the bottom of this page, where you’ll be able to let us know which type of sponsorship you’d like to take part in.

Why should you consider sponsoring an artist at ACT I Academy?

• Every individual is going to develop their own interests and passions which can then grow into beautiful goals to pursue and accomplish. As a non- profit organization, we never want finances to be the cause for a child to be forced to quit pursuing their goals in the performing arts. By sponsoring a student, you are helping a child to achieve the goals they have set out for themselves and to know there are people out there supporting them and believing in them along the way. 

• We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and can provide your business with a donation tax write off form as well as multiple advertising opportunities. Continue reading to learn more.

How are students chosen to be eligible for sponsorship?

• Students are chosen because there is a clear need for financial assistance. The families are doing all that they can to make their child's goals a reality, but financially that support is limited. 

• The staff chooses a student based on their financial need, as well as their work ethic, attitude towards teachers and peers and post graduation goals. 

What do you receive by being a corporate sponsor?

For full yearly tuition coverage:

Your Business is featured on our website as a corporate sponsor and will receive social media recognition on our organizations social media accounts quarterly 

• You receive advertisement in all our show programs (up to 6 shows a year if not more)

• Advertisement on our TV screen in our lobby 

• Advertisement in our pre-show  slide shows

• Your business can set up a card table with information on it at our shows 

• Your Business is featured twice a year in our “Welcome” email to the entire studio (at the start of the season in August and the start of the Spring semester in January) We service between 200-280 families a year. 

 For half of yearly tuition coverage:

• Business is featured on our website as a corporate sponsor and social media mentions quarterly

• Advertisement in all our show programs (6 shows a year)

• Advertisement on our TV in our lobby 

• Advertisement in our pre-show  slide show

For quarter of yearly tuition coverage:

• Advertisement in all our show programs (6 shows a year)

• Advertisement on our TV in our lobby 

• Advertisement in our pre-show  slide show

Tuition breakdown for a full time youth company student:

• Monthly- $260.00 

• Fall semester runs from August-December for a total of $1,300

• Spring semester is from January-May for a total of $1,300

• Annual performance fee- $55

Summer Tuition:

All students in our Youth Company Program must take a two week summer intensive.

• $150.00 per week for a total of $300.00

Yearly tuition:

• Full- $2,955

• Half- $1,478

• Quarter- $739

Why should you consider donating to ACT I Academy?

• You’ll be helping our efforts in providing quality and affordable arts training to our community. 

• Our goal is to always aim to provide our students with a pre-professional experience from the level of training to the set designs and costumes for every production. Your donations help to make that possible for these kids who have big dreams and goals.

What are some needs the program has throughout the year that the donations would go towards?

• Building materials for sets

• We do around 5 productions a year with the cost of materials reaching between $1,300-$2,500 within the season

• Costumes for performers

• Our costume cost reaches between $700-$1,200 within the season

• Theatre rental

• Our annual amount we have to spend on renting out a theatre for our productions is around $8,000

• Music rights 

• We have to pay for legal rights to use music in our classrooms and productions which is an annual $350 fee

• Covering extra staff hours

• During performance times our staff has to go above and beyond putting in countless hours for the students to ensure the productions are of highest quality. We as an organization strive to ensure our staff is always being properly compensated for their work. 

• General upkeep of our space

• Our three dance floors require special cleaning products 

• For in house shows in our black box theatre we have such things as stage lights and sound equipment that requires upkeep

• Providing music students with proper equipment for lessons 

• And more!

What do you receive by being a corporate sponsor?

Donations can be made in monthly or quarterly installments or by a one time donation amount. 

Gold Level Sponsor - $3,000 or more a year

• Your Business is featured on our website as a corporate sponsor and will receive social media recognition on our organizations social media accounts quarterly 

• You receive advertisement in all our show programs (up to 5 shows a year if not more)

• Advertisement on our TV screen in our lobby 

• Advertisement in our pre-show  slide shows

• Your business can set up a card table with information on it at our shows

Silver Level Sponsor- $1,500 a year

Bronze Level Sponsor- $800 a year 

• Advertisement in all our show programs (6 shows a year)

• Advertisement on our TV in our lobby 

• Advertisement in our pre-show  slide show
